OUR STORY

Mathura’s Premier Silver Atelier

In 1974, Shri Mohanlal Soni set up a modest two-room workshop behind Johari Bazaar with one anvil, a coal furnace, and a box of hand files, crafting silver payal for local families.

Fifty years later, his son and grandson carry forward the legacy with 22 master artisans—ensuring no piece leaves the bench without meeting heirloom purity.

Silver Atelier

Certified 925 Purity

Every piece carries a certified BIS hallmark stating silver purity and grade.

Lightweight & Comfort

Smoothly finished edges and balanced weight for effortless daily wear.

All-Day Wear

Designed for timeless elegance that seamlessly transitions from day to evening.

The Process

From ingot to heirloom

01

Melting

Pure silver is alloyed to 92.5% and poured into slim ingots on the furnace floor.

02

Drawing

The ingot is rolled and drawn into wire and sheet, annealed between every pass.

03

Forming

Motifs are chased, filigree twisted and ghungroo bells soldered one at a time.

04

Finishing

Oxidising, brushing and a final tumble bring out the contrast in every carving.

“We are not making jewellery for a season. We are making the thing a daughter inherits.”

Nine regions, one archive

Rajasthani meenakari, Bengali filigree, Kutchi tribal work and South Indian temple motifs each carry their own grammar of line and weight. Our design archive holds more than fourteen hundred drawings collected across these regions.

Where a technique is close to disappearing, we train apprentices in it, whether or not it sells well. That is the part of the business we are proudest of.
